Michelle Purtle, PA-C

As a Physician Assistant, Michelle Purtle practices medicine under the supervison of Dr. Steven J. Smith. She is involved in the diagnosis and management of dermatological conditions, including performing minor surgical procedures, ordering and interpreting lab results, and prescribing medications.

Michelle is a graduate of Baylor College of Medicine with a master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Before P.A. school, she was an honor graduate from Oklahoma State University with a degree in microbiology. The National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants has certifed Ms. Purtle, and she is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. With her interest and knowledge of dermatology, she has been a volunteer at various community and educational activities, including teaching dermatology to the Physician Assistant classes at Baylor.
